Turbo-Seal: The solution to waterproofing
A new concept in waterproofing materials, Turbo-Seal is a flexible gel that bonds to any surface to create an impervious waterproofing membrane. Comprised of over 25% post consumer recycled content, Turbo-Seal is formed by combining a polymer rubber with special adhesives. Turbo-Seal can be applied as a membrane for new construction waterproofing or injection repair material in any environment. Application is easy pansion and contraction or other environmental factors. This cold applied, one component membrane can be troweled or injected by a simple, easy to maintain rotor stator pump.
Why cure when you can heal?
This is a movie that demonstrates the self healing properties of Turbo-Seal under hydrostatic pressure. Due to the bentonite component of Turbo-Seal and the fact that Turbo-Seal never completely cures, it exhibits the remarkable ability to self heal, even under hydrostatic pressure. In situations where the Turbo-Seal waterproofing membrane is punctured or cut, Turbo-Seal will automatically heal itself and maintain the water tight integrity of the membrane system. No other waterproofing membrane can prove such a remarkable capacity to retain its waterproofing integrity.
Turbo-Seal maintains a strong bond even under water or with different construction materials
Existing waterproofing materials do not maintain their adhesiveness in these conditions.
Active responsiveness to substrate movement and vibration
Due to Turbo-Seal’s responsiveness to substrate movement and vibration, there is no need for the repeated repair of cracks/separation of the waterproofing membrane. Other waterproofing materials cure and crack, leading to water intrusion, Turbo-Seal never completely cures giving it the remarkable ability to self heal and weather the constant stress of thermal expansion/contraction or vibration.
Save time, save money
Most waterproofing membranes have a tendency to fail due to improper installation, low quality materials or improper design. When a waterproofing membrane has failed costly, time consuming work is required to replace the compromised membrane. Turbo-Seal is simply injected into the compromised membrane to instantly restore it’s waterproofing integrity.
