Directions
- Measure 1lb of Type A and .14 – .16lb of Type B in each container.
- Amount of Type B may vary depending on temperature and humidity.
- Mix .040lb of Type B to 1lb of Type A and add Type B within 10%
in 5 minutes in consideration of work efficiency and mix it for
3 minutes before application.
- Be sure to mix Type B within the specified range and to mix mixture
well to ensure quality application.
- Apply the mortar using a trowel and sprayer.
- Spray water or thin mortar before application so as to mitigate
the friction inside the hose .
- Take appropriate measures to prevent the surface from being rapidly
dried by wind or sunlight .
- Spraying-application.
- Spray the mortar moving at round direction with a gun aimed at
the surface at a right angle, at 20 inches away.
- Apply the primary coat at 5mm thick or less to fill the void and
increase the bond strength.
- Sufficient curing is required under temperatures below 50°F
- In case of any condensation on surface, dry the surface using
a heater, fan, air compressor or portable burner.
- In case of hot-weather concreting on dried surface, spray refined
water or liquid to prevent the mortar from drying too rapidly.
- Limit the amount of mixed material at normal temperature so that
it can be applied within 30 minutes.
- Do not use if powder hardens or freezes.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 31°F
- As the viscosity varies depending on temperature and humidity,
keep agitating to prevent the aggregate from being segregated in
low viscosity, and add type B within a mixing ratio allowable before
agitating the material in high viscosity.
- Protect the surface from external impact for at least 24 hours
after application, and the following works shall depend on curing
progress.
- In case the application is suspended for 30 minutes or longer,
remove all material inside the hose.
- Refer to instruction on storage of powder or liquid-type material
for further details. If problems persists, contact the manufacturer.
- Those not instructed in specifications may follow standard concrete
specifications.
- In the event of any discrepancies between the specification and
work environment, consult the manufacturer or designer before application.
