HE-256
Product Description
HE-256 is water based transparent epoxy polyamide dispersion of two
components primer for concrete. It increases concrete surface strength
by the percolation of concrete. It increases adhesive strength and
is used as a surface reinforcement. It can also be used as a waterproofing
sealer and for rust protection.
Application
- Primer
- Waterproofing Sealer
- Rust Protection
- Adhesive for Concrete
- Coating for Anti-ductility, Anti-gasoline
- Mixing equipment: Hand mixer.
- Gauge: Scales.
- Application equipment: Spray, brush.
- Can be applied to damp surfaces to seal the surface prior to painting.
- Has excellent adhesion to most substrates including concrete,
brick, masonry,
stone and wood.
- Non-flammable, negligible odor and toxicity is classified as non-Hazardous
for transportation.
- Can be used for dilution according to building structures and
conditions by mixing
with water 50% or water 100%.

Directions
- Measure Type A and Type B according to recommended mixing ratio.
- Remove any foreign material on surface by air cleaning.
- Because Type A contains filler, it may settle down when storage
is extended. Make sure to thoroughly mix Type
- A with a hand mixer before mixing with Type B(hardener).
- Mix material using a mechanical method such as a hand mixer.
- Limit the amount of mixed material at normal temperature so that
it can be applied within 40 minutes at normal temperature.
- In consideration that the time allowable for application tends
to reduce at high temperature and increase in low temperature, the
amount of material for a single application shall be controlled
accordingly.
- Agitate again after measuring refined water according to mixing
ratio of Type A and B
- A sufficient curing is required under the temperature below 50°F.
- Do not apply at temperature below 31°F.
- In case of hot-weather concreting on dried surface, spray refined
water or liquid to prevent the mortar from drying too rapidly.
- No application shall be allowed at the temperature below 31°F.
- Remove any residual material on surface using a cloth to ensure
optimal adhesion.
- Do not used expired material.
- If material is applied too thickly, it will form a film.
- * When a surface is dry:
Apply the material mixed with refined water at 100%, and continue
the following work after the surface is completely dried.
- * When a surface is wet:
The application shall continue in a same above, after the surface
is dried.
- * Leakage-stop:
Apply the material on surface after mixing with rapid-curing cement
(refer to rapid-curing cement specification) .
- Refer to instruction on storage of powder or liquid-type material
for further details. If any problems persists, contact the manufacturer.
- In the event of any discrepancies between the specification and
work environment, consult the manufacturer or designer before application.
